Isn’t your effort worth the best equipment? On 23 March 2007, the Icelandic trawler Venus HF 519, owned by HB Grandi, made a record sale after fishing for 34 days in the Barents Sea. The trawler headed for port to land the most valuable load ever brought in from one single fishing trip by any Icelandic vessel, at 2 million eur. The Venus uses 9m2 Injector Scorpion trawl doors. According to owner Thorbjörn Hf, the Icelandic trawler Gnúpur GK-11 made a record fishing trip, bringing in a 602- tonne catch worth around 1.2 million eur. Trawled in the course of 33 days and landed on 6 March, the catch consisted chiefly in redfish, haddock, and cod. The Gnúpur is equipped with 8.7m2 Injector Scorpion doors.
