In total we are active in around 70 licenses in the North Sea and the Atlantic Margin. We produce oil and natural gas in the Norwegian and Danish part of the North Sea, and from October 2007 from the Ormen Lange field in Mid Norway. We participate in every phase of the energy process all the way to the consumer – from the rigs in the North Sea, power sta- tions generating electricity and heat, and wind farms, until we market the energy and convey it all the way to our one million customers’ doorstep in Denmark and abroad. This ensures a highly reliable supply of energy and gives us the necessary expertise for developing our company. Innovation is an important part of our everyday work.
