Nr. 99 • 27. mai 2009 8 KBI in Klaksvik has participated in all previous exhibitions and will also attend “Fish Expo Faroes 2009”, which opens on Wednesday morning and will continue over the next three days. -“Our main objective of attending an exhibition such as this one, is to meet our clients/customers face to face – and of course present a selection of our goods”, says Mr Karl Birgir Isaksen, the company CEO - and at KBI, they have much to offer. They have such prodigious selection of industrial goods, equipment and tools, that they must be reckoned as a significant marine and shore-based supplier. -“What we supply is equipment, goods and tools to vessels, fish factories, tradesmen and other shore-based industries. It will be a selection of these items we will bring to Tórshavn for the exhibition, says the CEO. There will also be some new news from KBI this year. -“One aspect we will demonstrate is a wide selection of new tools intended to mount and remove ball- bearings”. Apart from this, they will have on show various oils, welding equipment, chemicals, soaps and other services intended for vessels. Tools for cleaning, hovering, foam installations for fish plants, etc. Mr Isaksen is very pleased that the exhibition has been relocated into Tórshavn. -“I expect the relocation into an urban area will provide an additional dimension”, says the KBI Managing Director. He believes it will be easier for people to visit an exhibition, located in the middle of town and he is expecting more visitors to the exhibition compared to last year, when it was located “Uppi á Hjalla”. Umframt hetta, fara teir at vísa oljur, sveisiútgerð, kemisk evni, sápur og aðrar tænastur til skip, umframt amboð til at reingerð, dustsúgving, skúmanlegg til flakavirki og annað. Karl Birgir Isaksen fegnast um, at fiskivinnuframsýning er flutt oman í Havnina. - Eg vænti, at tað fer at geva nakað eyka, at framsýningin er flutt í bygt øki, sigur stjórin á KBI.
